Youth School Photography Program at Dubai Esports & Games Festival (DEF) As part of our participation at the Dubai Esports and Games Festival (DEF), the Youth School Photography Program fosters creative vision among students through guided learning, hands-on workshops, and live photography challenges. This innovative photography program not only enhances Photography in Education but also focuses on Student Portfolio Building, allowing students to explore youth filmmaking as they develop their skills.
Schools are invited to participate in the Nikon Youth School Program, in partnership with Nikon MENA, designed to develop photography and filmmaking skills among students through structured learning and live creative experiences.

Schools can book workshop dates and preferred time slots via registration form below. Participating students will be eligible to take part in the live challenge at DEF 2026.
This initiative offers hands-on learning, creative confidence, and the opportunity to showcase student work on a prestigious public platform.
By registering and participating on this platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding our photography program and the creative vision we aim to cultivate:
1. Eligibility:
- This platform is intended for youth and kids interested in photography and related topics, including youth filmmaking. Users must be between the ages of 13 and 17 to participate.
2. Parental/Guardian Consent:
- Users under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to register on this platform. By registering, you affirm that you have obtained such consent.
3. User Conduct:
- All users are expected to maintain respectful and considerate behavior towards other members. Bullying, harassment, hate speech, or any form of inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
4. Privacy and Safety:
- Protect your personal information and respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal contact information or engage in any behavior that compromises your safety or the safety of others.
5. Content and Intellectual Property:
- Content shared on this platform, including photos, comments, and posts, must be appropriate, respectful, and in line with the purpose of the platform. This is particularly important for student portfolio building.
- Users must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. Do not use copyrighted images without permission.
6. Parental/Guardian Responsibility:
- Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring their child's online activity and ensuring their safe use of this platform.
7. Moderation and Reporting:
- Nikon Youth and Kids reserves the right to moderate content and user behavior to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions.
- Users can report any inappropriate behavior or content to the platform administrators.
8. Account Termination:
- Nikon Youth and Kids reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user's account for violations of these terms and conditions.
9. Photography and Content Release:
- By sharing photos or content on this platform, you grant Nikon permission to use your work for promotional or educational purposes, including in the context of Photography in Education, with proper attribution. Your content remains your property.
10. Updates and Changes:
- Nikon Youth and Kids may update or change these terms and conditions. Users will be notified of any significant changes.
11. Liability:
- Nikon Youth and Kids are not responsible for any damages or issues that may arise from your use of this platform.
12. Termination:
- Nikon Youth and Kids reserves the right to discontinue or terminate this platform at any time.
By registering on the Nikon Youth and Kids page, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to do so may result in the suspension or termination of your registration.

Your participation on this platform is contingent upon your understanding and agreement to these terms.
1. Acquisition of Personal Information
The Company will acquire in a fair and lawful manner, only such personal information as is necessary, especially in the context of our photography program aimed at fostering creative vision among students, and will ensure that the use of such information is restricted.
2. Personal Information Use
Personal information acquired by the Company may be used in the following ways:
- To provide products or services requested by the customer, including product sales, repair and inspection, after-sales service, and catalogue distribution. This personal information includes details necessary to understand the requirements of the customer, such as a customer's purchase history and repair history, which can aid in Student Portfolio Building.
- To enable response to customer requests including customer inquiry history. This includes the collection of customer inquiries for the purpose of improving the Company's responsiveness, which is essential for enhancing our Photography in Education initiatives as a reference for determining customer requirements for products, planning, development, advertisement, sales, and service activities. This personal information will encompass answers to questionnaires from customer satisfaction surveys and the customer's inquiry history.
- To verify participants in exhibitions and seminars and to correspond with them after the event, especially in relation to youth filmmaking workshops.
- To develop and maintain smooth relations with business partners and related entities, which can serve as a reference in the recruitment of an individual where personal information is provided by an inquirer or an applicant to the Company.
- To send necessary documentation to shareholders, including notification of the general meeting of shareholders, and to administer dividend payments or other actions as required by the Commercial Code as defined by Personal Data Protection Law and other applicable laws and regulations. The acquired personal information may, provided that particular individuals cannot be identified, be processed and used as statistical data.
3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
(1) Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties: Acquired personal information shall not be disclosed to third parties except as listed below: With prior consent or where authorized by Personal Data Protection Law or any other relevant laws and regulations.
(2) Provision of Personal Information to Sub-contractors: Acquired personal information may be disclosed and offered to sub-contractors within the limited scope necessary to achieve the purpose for which the information is being used. For example, when the Company sends products to a distributor or assigns the role of organizing a campaign to a data processing company. In such cases, a confidentiality agreement shall be signed by the third party, and the Company shall strictly monitor and supervise the handling of the personal information by the third party.
(3) Personal Information Sharing: Acquired personal information may be shared and used within the Nikon Group (Click here to see a list of the group companies' homepages) in order to attain the usage purposes described in Section 2, 'Personal Information Use'. Personal information that may be shared within the group includes names, addresses, telephone numbers, mail addresses, purchase histories, repair histories, inquiry history and content, and request content. NIKON CORPORATION is responsible for protecting the personal information that is shared and used by the Group. The Nikon Group will observe the Nikon Group Privacy Protection Policy and strictly control the security of personal information.
4. Proper Management of Personal Information
All necessary and appropriate security measures will be taken to prevent the acquired personal information from being leaked, lost, or damaged, and to secure the safety of the personal information in accordance with the Nikon Group Privacy Protection Policy and other company rules related to information management. The Company will also offer all training necessary to ensure the proper handling of information to its directors, employees, and other related personnel.
5. Inquiries
Inquiries from customers regarding their own personal information, including verification of the purpose of the usage of the personal information, and the giving of opinions or making of complaints with regard to personal information handling, shall be forwarded to the section to which the customer initially provided his/her personal information.
6. Improvement
The Company will comply with privacy protection-related Singapore laws and regulations, and will review and improve the contents of this document to strive constantly towards better privacy protection.
